Quantech (Pty) Ltd (Registration Number 2009/023329/07) is a 64 percent black owned independent supplier in the construction industry, with a specialised market differentiator model that has been proven over the last 5 years. The company was founded in 2013 by the following entrepreneurs: De Wet Barry, Bernard Taljaard, Con Bruce, Bryan Habana and Marco Wentzel before Matome MaponyaInvestments and Kholofelo Maponya acquired shares in Quantech.

Quantech is a disruptive business that supplies materials based on volume and size of contract directly to site and thereby sharing the financial saving with the client. The price efficiency emanates from the lack of overheads in physical infrastructure and multiple handling due to the traditional supply model. Quantech’s objective is to become a major role player in the supply of building material in South Africa as well as the continent Africa.

We uphold a set of principles that are firmly rooted in family values. Mutual reward, based on the establishment and cementing of long-term client relationships is the hallmark of our success. We are associated with an extensive base of well-established local and international suppliers and manufactures. Through an efficient distribution network, we deliver to our promise of timeously supplying quality building products and superior after-sales service to a satisfied clientele base.

Our dynamic management team is currently spearheading Quantech’s expansion into South Africa, with a view to extend beyond its borders in the near future. Our business model is based on low margins, high volume and project specific. We don’t aim to sell our solution to every developer or construction company in the industry, but try to target a couple of major role players, build a relationship and make sure we can attain the business by competitive pricing, quality products and good service.
